Meall Bhuidhe is a single Munro lying north of Lochan Daimh. It has a rounded summit with a craggy north running ridge leading subsidiary peak Garbh Meall. The normal route of ascent for Meall Bhuidhe is from the east end of Lochan Diamh with a sharp pull up onto the L shaped southern ridge of Meall Bhuidhe. The climb is not technically difficult from this route. A much more demanding route can be taken from the north first summiting Garbh Meall before tackling the rocky traverse to Meall Bhuidhe.
There are excellent views on offer from the summit in all directions. To the south the views of Lochan Daimh and its hydro dam are truly impressive, the Munro Stuchd an Lochain rises from its southern shores and is equally impressive. Looking east there is good views to be had of the Lawers Hills. There are also good views North and West to Rannoch Moor.
There is parking available at the head of the private road leading to the hydro dam at Lochan Diamh.
