Sgor na h-Ulaidh is often the forgotten Munro of Glencoe not a lot is said about it except for that it has a ridiculously confusing name. It’s unlike the rest of its counterparts in that it can’t be seen from the main A82 road. It is for this reason it is not often visited. This we really can’t understand as Sgor na h-Ulaidh has some brilliant features including an awesome north face and fine summit ridges. The views from the summit of the huge Bidean nam Bian massif is worth the climb alone. Sgor na h-Ulaidh can be climbed from either its Glencoe side to the north or from the SW via Glen Etive both with their own merits however the Glencoe side is the most popular for accessibility.
There is parking available at the Glencoe Visitor Centre off the A82 to start the walk but involves a long walk in.
