The Tyndrum hills take in four Munros centered round the ever impressive Ben Lui which definitely claims the title for the regions best Munro. The walking in this area can happily be split into 2 days or the enthusiast amongst you can possibly romp round the whole region in a one-er through a series of high ridges and cols.
Most of the Munros in the region are hidden from the main A82 road with only glimpses of Ben Lui's unmistakable north eastern corrie coming just south of Tyndrum.
Access to the Munros is normally via the A82 at Dalrigh or from the A85 Tyndrum to Oban road
The town of Tyndrum itself make a logical base for the area with a host of amenities and a train station. The west highland way also goes through the town and passes close to the lower reaches of many of the Munros in the area.
